Orders shipped to Alaska & Hawaii are subject to shipping charges. They are shipped either by UPS or USPS Priority. Shipping options can be made at checkout.
At ProteinWise we strive to get your products to you as fast as we can. For standard shipping within the U.S., we use UPS Ground, and USPS Priority Mail to deliver your product in the most efficient and cost effective way. From our California warehouse, we typically ship via USPS Priority Mail where you will receive your delivery in 1-3 days (excluding Sundays). For larger shipments, we ship via UPS where you will receive your delivery in 5-7 business days.
You may choose to expedite your order for an additional charge. These expedited shipping methods can be selected in your shopping cart. Please understand that when choosing the expedited shipping options, the transit times are calculated by business days only. USPS ships on Saturdays whereas UPS doesn’t deliver on the weekends. *Please note when choosing USPS Priority Mail, this option doesn't come with a guarantee.
We do offer shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, & Canada. The shipping costs to these locations will be calculated at check-out.
We do our best to ship orders Monday through Friday within 24 hours, but due to the heavy volume of orders we receive, this can change. If you need to ensure that a shipment goes out on a certain day, please call our customer service line at 866-887-1008 and we will see what we can do.
Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will typically ship on Monday.
Holiday orders are shipped within 2 business day after the holiday.
UPS do not deliver to P.O. boxes so you must either list a valid street address with your order OR choose USPS Priority Mail for P. O. Box delivery.
Reminder….USPS delivers on Saturdays and UPS does not deliver on weekends in most locations so please do not include these days when estimating your expected delivery date.
When your order leaves our facility, we take extra care in making sure that your package is in first-rate condition. It is our hope that it arrives to you in the same way. Unfortunately, we are not responsible for damages that occur during shipping. If your shipment is damaged, please contact us upon receipt of your shipment. Keep all merchandise including the box and packaging material for up to 7 business days as UPS may choose to inspect the damaged merchandise. The merchandise will either be replaced or you will receive a credit once when the carrier has paid on the claim.
Please verify that the shipping address information provided to us is accurate as we are not responsible for shipping costs on any packages returned due to incorrect information.
We do NOT request or require a signature for any deliveries under $300, however, it is solely up to the delivery person's discretion whether or not to leave the package without a signature. This also applies to any special shipping instructions that you have asked us to include with your package.
We are not responsible for packages left outdoors or unattended.
Warm Weather Shipments
During warmer months, there is the possibility that some products may soften or melt during transit, especially if left to sit at the shipper’s warehouse over the weekend. We promptly ship all orders from our temperature-controlled location but unfortunately have no control over a shipping companies delivery conditions. Because of this, we offer the following suggestions to help minimize the possibility of receiving melted or softened bars during summer delivery:
- Placing your order on a weekend to go out on Monday.
- Reduce the transit time, by choosing expedited shipping methods.
- Avoid packages being left outside by having your order delivered to your work address or an alternative location such as a neighbor’s home.
No matter the shipping day, in an effort to help reduce the risk of melting, we do place a “Protect from Heat” label on all of our outgoing packages containing products prone to melting.
Should melting occur, there is a quick and simple solution. Simply place the unopened box of bars in the refrigerator for about an hour, minimizing the handling of individually wrapped products as much as possible. Items will re-harden with no loss of nutrition or taste, although appearance may be slightly altered.
Signature Required Policy
In order to ensure that your Proteinwise products are delivered and received safely, a signature at the time of delivery will be required on any orders of $300 or more. If you will not be home during the day to receive a signature required package, then we suggest that you opt to have the package delivered to your place of business.
Waiving the delivery signature
Customers may choose to waive the signature requirement per order on orders over $300, but it must be done before your item ships out. To do this, you will need to email customer service, prior to your shipment leaving our warehouse. We will contact you back to confirm receipt of your request and the application of it to your order.
You should be aware that if you choose this option that you are releasing Proteinwise and the carrier from any responsibility for the package once it is dropped off at your door.
Important Note: Signature Requirements cannot be removed once the item is in transit. If you do not waive the signature prior to the order’s departure, then you will be responsible for all shipping fees in the return and reshipment of your item.
International Shipping Details
~Proteinwise ships to Canada and many other countries around the globe. We offer our customers very competitive international shipping rates. Your shipping cost and options will be shown to you in your shopping cart prior to check out. Free shipping options are not available for international orders. International shipping costs are calculated by weight and destination.
~All prices listed on our site are in U.S. dollars. When you pay by credit card, the credit card company will calculate the exchange rate and include it in your monthly statement.
~All international orders will require a direct adult signature upon delivery.
~Proteinwise only charges for product and shipping costs. Proteinwise’s prices do not include custom fees, taxes, and tariffs. Customers outside the U. S. may be subject to these extra fees which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. It is you, the customer, who is responsible for these additional fees.
~It is important for you to become familiar with the Customs policies for your specific country before ordering. Customs regulations vary greatly by country and lack of knowledge regarding the customs rules governing the country you're importing to can result in your order incurring high import duties, delivery being delayed, or returned to us. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to see if your country permits the shipment of our products. Proteinwise will also not be held responsible for any additional fee the local carrier in your country may charge. If the package is seized by Customs for any reason and not returned to us, there will be no credit issued on your order. If the package is returned to us because of a wrong address, refused by customer, or refused by customs, we will credit you the product cost only less a 10% restocking fee and any other charges that may have been levied by customs in your country. These fees can include but are not limited to quarantine fees, shipping fees, or warehousing fees.
~We can not guarantee any delivery times for international orders since inspections by your local Customs Service may delay delivery and cannot be anticipated or controlled on our end. All we are able to guarantee is the level of service we ship your order with. Certain Priority Mail Express International, Priority Mail International, and UPS shipments that are delayed past their guaranteed delivery times may be eligible for a full refund of shipping fees paid. You may contact us to file a claim on your behalf and if it's accepted by the shipping carrier, we will reimburse you in full for your shipping fees.
